No shocking result in a game in Le Kremlin-Bicetre where first ranked BritishEssex (2-1) won against 20th ranked French IBF (4-4) 89-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 12 points at the halftime before their 53-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Essex forced 23 IBF turnovers and outrebounded them 54-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Thomas Blower who scored 31 points and 5 rebounds. Enoch Adebambo chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Essex's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Kenny Bassim who recorded 30 points and 8 rebounds and Damien Piperol added 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Essex went down to second position due to points difference. IBF lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with four games lost.
